Haylee is an 12 year old that is fun, loving and dedicated. She excels in the class room with a 3.84 GPA and loves to surf and compete.
She started surfing when she was 3 years old on the front of her dad's long-board . . . and hasn't stopped since.
Haylee, her little sister Shia and dad surf together every day.
She trains with her coach 3 days a week and dedicated 2 days a week to core training.
Haylee is an athlete born to feel at ease in the stress of competition.
Her drive to win has led her to surf with a broken arm and in another
competition a broken board.
There are no obstacles in Haylee's regimen. Only challenges to overcome.
Haylee lives on the North Shore of Maui and surfs Hookipa daily and feels equally comfortable on any beach.
She has spent the last 4 summers surfing Kewalos and Ala Moana Bowls on the South side of Oahu. Last 2 summers she spent surfing around California. She competed in Nationals held at Huntington Beach and also spent 2 weeks competing in the US Championship at Trestles.
She spent 3 months training on Oahu with the world renowned surf coach Doug Silva.

Billy Kemper been busying himself on the WQS, doing ASP 6-star and Prime events and lighting up the Triple Crown of Surfing each winter, including entries into the Pipe Masters.
But Kemper put all his other accomplishments on the second shelf in December of 2015 by winning the World Surf League Big Wave Tour’s first-ever Pe’Ahi Challenge on his home island, by sticking historic drops down mountainous wave faces and tucking into one of the largest barrels in history.

The Lahaina local helped turn the Valley Isle into the wind and water sport capital that it is today by developing the Maui Race Series. He single-handedly owns three Hi-Tech Maui shops, which harbor the most extensive variety of board sport equipment on the island. Mr. Ball is helping turn surfing into a reputable scholastic sport through the Maui Interscholastic League surfing
