It is a deep dark ruby color with red cherries, toasted oak and the typical earth tones commonly found in the top wines of Rioja. You'll also note pie crust, blackberry jam and some ever so subtle mint aromas. Loaded with big dark fruit on the entry, the mid-palate has great overall structure making this wine one that will be able to "lay down" for many years to come.
